"parking at west middlsex"

About: West Middlesex University Hospital

Anything else?

I had a very pleasant visit to a patient on the children's ward and thought it a nice hospital on my first visit. It was clean and nice facilities. On returning to my car I got a ticket saying the space was disabled but I couldn't see any signs where I parked and none of the cars around me had badges. My partner came by bike and said the only signs were painted on the bays and in poor condition. Be very careful or you will be asked to pay a ticket as lots of people had made the same mistake as me as the standing water had obscured any signs. I am all for disabled spaces by the way and there's loads at west middlesex. I will be writing to hospital management as signage needs sorting out.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. The road markings are due for re-painting which has been scheduled for the spring. I have asked that our car parking contractor investigate the requirements for post signage to ensure that we meet good industry standards. Thank you Debbie Green Associate Director of Facilities & Estates
