A couple of weeks have now passed since my father had a triple stent operation. Time gives one the opportunity to reflect and I offer my sincerest thanks for the care and attention that was given and, in particular, the manner in which the consultant explained to us the nature and risk involved in the procedure - his professionalism was exemplary and made us feel confident that, whatever the outcome, he is a man who's opinion must be listened to. It would be remiss to not thank all the staff in Ward 28 who helped along the way and I and my family (including my brightly recovering father!) wish all a Happy Christmas and a successful 2014.
