A&E experience in Brarrow-in-Furness was outstanding, the staff genuinely cared about my feelings,in particular my doctor that day, he was patient, he gave excellent advice and really explained all medical terminology in a way that I could understand and he really reassured me, He was thorough and professional but made me feel completely at ease in his presence, I cannot praise him highly enough and I am so glad I got a doctor as caring and thorough as him to care for me that day. On the rare occasions that me or my family have had to use A&E we have always had the absolute best care we could have hoped for in Furness General and we thank every single member of staff for the dedication they show to their patients. I went to A&E on the weekend before Christmas and the staff were rushed off their feet but they still spent time with each patient to assess their needs and I didn't feel at all that they rushed through my consultation.
