Care before and after surgery was superb - the ward nurses in particular were attentive, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. Ward seemed very clean except for one of the toilets, though I think this was due to problems with a particular patient! Anaesthetist was also excellent - I felt very relaxed and fully informed about what he was doing. Would have liked to receive a little more information from the surgical team - at a couple of points I felt somewhat under-informed. I would also have appreciated more information about my recovery period - it was very worrying to be bleeding while recovering at home, and if I had been told this was not unusual it would have saved a great deal of stress and a trip to A&E! These are only minor points though - really I would not hesitate to recommend the hospital for other male urology patients.
