"Excellent Service"

About: George Eliot Hospital - Acute Services

Anything else?

I was referred toGEH in September for a suspected neuroma in my left foot. I soon received an appointment for the consultant, and was surprised to get an appointment very quickly for 21st December. The nurses and other staff on Tenby were polite, interested and caring when I was being clerked, and before and after my surgery. On the whole the theatre team were fantastic but it was obvious that the anaesthetic team are not used to patients who are awake! The consultant and his registrarwere welcoming, expalined what was going to happen, and answered all of my questions frankly and made the whole thing very easy. The only downside is the size of the dressing to protect my foot - it is like a pillow wrapped round it! Thank you all so very much for a great experience and, most of all, for the removal of all that pain. Ria
