"Neurosurgeon and his Team"

About: Royal Preston Hospital

Anything else?

I had a major operation on 19th June 2013, Which came as a surprise to myself, my husband and family. The consultant and his team have kept a very worried lady and her husband calm, informed and very well looked after. My operation meant that if it had been left undetected I could now be in a wheelchair and reliant on others daily. I have a cage and a plate in my neck, but to everyone's surprise I can do all that I did before, I have no lack of movement, swallowing or pain. I cannot thank the whole staff team for the clear explanations of the problem, the operation and the after care. I am a very lucky lady to have had such an amazing team of people. Please pass on my deepest thanks to all of those who have been involved.

Thanks for your comments. Hearing about positive experiences really motivates our staff, and helps us identify where we’re getting things right so we can share good practice across all of our services.
