Anything else?
Having read on here the comments of the urgent care centre I can't understand where the negative comments come from. At the suggestion of my daughter I went there this morning, and I couldn't have been happier with the care I received. As it was early on the Saturday before Christmas I thought they would be quite quiet but they weren't. However, I was seen fairly quickly by a nurse. His attitude was lovely and calming. Despite having a very complex medical history he listened to my ailments, thoroughly examined me, gave me a diagnosis and started me on a course of treatment. He told me when his department was open and what options were available to me should I need any more help. We are always complaining about our National Health Service when what we should be doing is praising them for doing a job not many people would or could do. Yes we may have to wait a while to be seen but there may be some other poor soul not as lucky as you being looked after. At the end of the day what we have is essentially free and I'm sure if more people were forced to pay for their treatment those who really needed it wouldn't be waiting half as long.
