It was very daunting to be told by my GP in September that I needed a total hip replacement, but swift referral allowed me to be seen by a consultant within three weeks and surgery took place in late November. I was treated with the utmost care and kindness at every stage, and nursing staff were never too busy to answer questions or simply listen and reassure. Accommodation and food are both superb, which helps the recovery process enormously! I have nothing but praise for all the staff, with special thanks to my very kind consultant - thank you all.
