I was scheduled to have an elective day-case anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. From the moment I walked in at 07:30 I was greeted in a friendly manner. All staff including Day Surgery Unit nurses, recovery nurses and physios who visited me were friendly, professional and comforting. They answered all my questions I had and overall my experience was fantastic. I was well looked after with adequate painkillers given to me post-op as well as given to me to take home. They even allowed a nurse to bring my bags downstairs for me to get my ride home! All post-op advice as explained clearly and I could not fault my experience at all. Thank you Day Surgery Unit and physiotherapist who looked after me!
