My mother has been an outpatient in the eye department for the past 18 months. During that time she has been seen monthly and only twice has her visit taken 3 hours plus, the first time wad her first visit, and the second was her last when we were out in 3 hours after a 4 hour appointment as she was starting New treatment. I have the utmost respect and praise for her Consultant and all the staff who have delivered treatment with care and compassion on every visit, and who have saved the sight of so many people with macral degeneration, without which they would go blind.
