What I liked

I recently visited the DTC for day surgery and due to minor added complications, ended up staying in overnight. I was absolutely amazed at how clean the rooms and wards were. I expected the staff to be friendly, as they are in most hospitals and they didn't disappoint! The facilities were excellent. You can see that the extra funding is being spent in all the right places. The Phlebotomy area is also efficient, friendly and the staff are true professionals

What could be improved

My pre-op appointment was scheduled for 8:30am and I wasn't seen until 09:15. I was the first on the list and the wait was never explained. This made me late for work and I felt quite angry, as the assessment only took 10mins.
