"I can't see why PRH don't have their own person to arrange appointments"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

When I was first contacted by TRAQS they could not find me an appointment that I could make. I asked them if they could contact me when they had more appointments, I was told I would have to ring them back - how am I to know when they've been given more appointments by the PRH physio team?

This left me rather angry and annoyed. I can't see why the PRH physio team don't have their own person to arrange appointments as this TRAQS service seems pointless!

I'm sorry that you are not happy with the service that you have received from TRAQS.

I do apologise, but as much as we are here to support our patients with the booking of their appointment, we can only offer appointments that the hospital have available at that point in time. TRAQS have no control over the number of appointments made available for booking.

The reason that we would have asked you to call us back is likely to be because of the timing and also because we deal with all specialties for hospitals and are a service for all Telford and Wrekin patients, as much as we would like to provide a one to one service at times this is not possible.

If it had of been possible at the time of your call, you would have been offered a call back from TRAQS.

I apologise for the inconvenience this has caused you.
