(as a service user),

My experience with my local GP was very positive and my referral was handled wonderfully, but my waiting time is far too long.

I am having to wait 16-18 weeks for my appointment to the eye clinic which is a long time.

Thank you taking the time to post your feedback. I am pleased that your referral was handled wonderfully by your GP and TRAQS.

Once your GP sends your referral to TRAQS, it is then our job to support and advise you on the booking of your appointment. We do not have any control over the waiting times of hospitals, however it may have been possible for you to travel a little further and be seen sooner.

If you would like to discuss this further, we will do outr best to help you, but cannot guarantee how long your wait will be at other hospitals, until you call us on 01952 580441.
