Major surgery at 80YO , brilliant surgeon, great ICU, excellent outcome, since then, awfull rehab hospital at Clifton, discharge then3 weeks limbo, no follow up, just found out he should have had ongoing drugs, not received, now back in daily for a drip. No transport so ambulance 8am, back if lucky by5pm 1very tired man, one very frustrated family- NHS professional surgeons and nurses let down by admin of the poorest standard, no GP follow up, patchy district nurses and a total lack of respect for Quality of life for a man who will do anything he is told to improve.

I am very sorry that following initial treatment you feel that the Trust has let you down. I have passed your comments through to the Matron at Clifton Hospital for investigation.
