What I liked
most of staff did their best under difficult conditions, don't envy them working like that, having to borrow hoists from other wards for example, before they could move a patient..... issues of MRSA/ CDiff here, surely??
What could be improved
very confused info between different "ologies", didn't always share results quickly to enable rapid treatment of varying symptoms.
Food was really AWFUL, though it differed from ward to ward (I was moved four times!!)
Better equipped wards to help both patients AND staff, this is a NEW hospital, where's the kit??
Cleanliness.... some areas very dirty and even bloodstained
care of elderly appalling, more time needed to help with feeding, washing etc
