About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

From initial GP appointment to hospital appointment in 4 months, then I'll need to wait for the surgery.

I asked to be put on a waiting list for a cancellation at PRH but have no confirmation of that.

For a 15 minute appointment to review will probably cost me 2 hours plus car park charges, but to enable you and me to move forward, to remove my painful cyst, I am willing to go for it.

I don't want to wait until the end of January.

Thank you for writing to TRAQS.

TRAQS is all about patient choice of where you would like to attend your appointment, unfortunately due to a high demand for appointments at our local hospitals ie: PRH some patients are experciencing delays to be seen and this is beyond our control. It's difficult to note from your comments whether you were offered a choice of location for your treatment or if it was agreed by yourself and GP that you only wished to attend PRH.

However, I understand your fustration and I do hope that you might be offered a cancellation which will speed up your treatment.
