I printed off a door to door route from the website. Thank goodness it was not an emergency and i tried it out the day before , it led me to the other side of Beverley to quote a gentleman who eventually asked for directions. The emergency dept is well marked ,but there is no sign outside for the outpatients dept. I had to walk inside to confirm to myself I had the correct building ,as i still had the doubt in my mind that I had the right place ,as surely the direction would have been correct and there was another place i had missed. The get in to the car parks is very narrow ,the the blue card alocation point is badly signed as it looks as though it is the place for staff, and overflow on first driving up. Again it was good I had done my homework.. When the person does use the blue card facility they have to walk a long way round a area grass,to get to the entrance, which just adds to their discomfort. The one good thing was that we arrived early and ,the patient was called in almost immediately, which is a first.
