Over the last month I had been experiencing severe pains in my foot. After going to the walk in centre in Bitterne I was told that if it got worse to go to Minor Injuries at ASH. So I did, I went that day in fact only to be told directly by a podiatrist I was being "dramatic". I figured nothing must be wrong but after having no x-ray I was convinced after a week more of pain I should visit my GP. Who then told me he thought I had a fractured foot, therefore I had an x-ray and after 2 weeks of waiting for the results and a week for an appointment at my local doctors I do in fact have a fractured foot! I have been unable to work as I am a student and couldn't handle the pain of my normally fast paced waitressing job. I also forgot to say that the podiatrist I saw told me I was over weight and told me my shoes were not appropriate and to buy some trainers.
