Posted on behalf of a member of domestic staff on Silver Birch (older people's mental health) at Highbury Hospital:

The staff here are so responses to patients, even when they're short staffed and hard pushed. They're very hands on, and they want the best for these people. They are the best staff I've seen!

Along with the Head of Involvement (Paul Sanguinazzi), I am responsible for the Trusts two Involvement Centres, and our Volunteering and Befriending Service. I help to report all of the feedback we receive as a Trust to the Board.

Just a quick initial response to say that all comments gathered during the Listening Event at Highbury Hospital have been passed onto the senior management team who oversee services at the hospital (including Cherry Ward). I'm sure they, or a responsible service manager, will respond in more detail shortly.

Thanks for your very positive comments about the staff on Silver Birch. I'd like you to know how important domestic colleagues are to the team and the patients, keeping the ward clean and tidy in what are often difficult and challenging circumstances.

Thank you for what you do to help look after the patients and their families.
