"There is very little that can ..."

About: Queen's Hospital (Romford)

(as a relative),

What I liked

There is very little that can be said in terms of what we liked - basically nothing at all.

What could be improved

The full list of improvements would be considerable but here are just a few of my suggestions:-

1. Improve access to the wards. Having to walk large distances and take two lifts is a considerable effort for the elderly. Wheelchairs are extremely rare.

2. Improve level of communication between nursing staff. Every time we visit we have to go through the same process of trying to find out why my mothers care has changed. Nobody seems to know anything.

3. Improve the work ethic of nursing staff and doctors. Nobody seems to care. Doctors and consultants can display an arrogant atitude when questioned.

4. Improve communication between staff and relatives. Trying to find out my mothers condition and prognosis is virtually impossible. Lack of continuity of staff does not help this situation.
