"Saved my life"

About: Blackpool Victoria Hospital

Anything else?

I arrived at a & e in an incredible amount of pain not knowing what was wrong. the pain got worse on arrival and a nurse didn't really rush to give me pain relief until it got worse, but given they didn't know what was wrong, that's fair enough. the nurse gave me morphine which made me a lot more comfortable. those involved in my care were lovely and explained what was happening what they were doing every step of the way. upon further assessment, they knew they had to get me into theatre and if they hadn't, I could be dead. so grateful they got to me in time.
