Went in on Wednesday 4th December 2013 for TURP surgery and was pleasantly surprised at the level of care I had from start to finish. However, I could of had some information on what I needed to do when leaving hospital regarding my recovery. I have read some information on NHS Choices and am seeing my own doctor in the second week. .I do feel someone could have spoken to me about it and given me some guidance. The staff overall were good even though one member of staff did came on duty on my second day with a really bad cold and had to go home by mid morning. Along with this she was looking after and had contact with patients. The ward was clean/tidy and the staff on the whole were caring. One Bank Nurse was a bit lacking in friendliness. However the rest were good.
