My son has been messed about by the NHS for eight years now, finally find out he's def and needs hearing aids, this is after putting him through an op to fit gromits which he didn't need and was a total waste of time. Then they make him wait another six weeks for his aids to be fitted, he's been so looking forward to hearing properly for Xmas, only to be told two hours before his appointment was that it has been cancelled. Try explaining to a def boy that he's not going to have hearing for another Xmas ....NHS words fail me!
