I have been observing the relationship between patients, relatives and staff. One thing that strikes me is that staff have to put up with bad behaviour, cheek. Backchat and general rudeness from them...when will the nhs stop rewarding this behaviour?

Thank you for your feedback. Our staff do work in a challenging but rewarding environment and part of the role is to relate directly with patients and relatives in what can be extremely testing times. Please be reassured that there are safeguards in place to protect staff from inappropriate behaviour. Business manager for General and Vascular Surgery
