"My experience was not great and I shall not be returning"

About: Moorfield Clinic / Dermatology

(as the patient),

Came to see the nurse last week. I found her to be very confusing and did not really seem to know what she was talking about. Also asked to strip off, no curtain pulled around, I felt quite uncomfortable. What on earth happened to dignity because it was certainly lacking here. I have been to Moorfield before and the treatment plan was quite simple and straight forward. However this time the body wrapping etc seemed unnecessary and a little over the top. I just wanted some cream as I had last time.

I have read some of the previous comments written about this service which all seem to be have written by the same person, same style of writing which is slightly suspicious. Anyway my experience was not great and I shall not be returning and will also ask my GP if I can visit elsewhere.

Many thanks Confusedone for your post. I am really sorry you found your visit to our dermatology department a confusing and uncomfortable one. Please accept my apology on behalf of our staff.

I have passed your comment about lack of dignity to our lead nurse in dermatology to at least ensure this doesn't happen again. We do have a lot of really satisfied patients who post on Patient Opinion. I hope your treatment has been successful and that you will not have to return to a dermatology department again.
