About: Lynfield Mount Hospital / Adult mental health service

(as a service user),

I have been here as an impatient for 5 weeks, I was hearing voices and got a bit violent. I was transferred from one ward to this ward (maplebeck) and I feel a lot better now.

I get to play pool and been swimming a few times. I speak to the staff about things and they sort things out for me really well. They have bought a new laptop with I use and it is nice.

My support worker from early intervention team comes to check I am OK. He has looked after me well. His name is carl

This ward is very clean and tidy and there is things you can do. I hope to get my own place if I can and the staff are trying to help me get that. If I got ill again I would be happy to come back to maplebeck ward. Hope I don’t get ill again though.

I am really pleased to read about the progress you are making on our ward at Lynfield Mount Hospital. It is good to hear that the staff are supporting you and helping to speed your recovery. It is important to me to know that the wards are clean and that patients have things to do. I am really grateful you have taken time to share this feedback with us and will pass this on to all the staff involved in your care.
