I have just had an unexpected stay in hospital for a gall stone problem and found that the staff without fail were kind and pleasant despite being very busy all shift. I was also surprised by all the Doctors who were about and who I saw. In the end a decision was made about my treatment though at the time I found this a little frustrating I now realise this delay was necessary to my overall care. On a personal note I had gone to A&E expecting to be home that evening to look after two dogs that had been left on their own, and had a fraught time trying to get someone to go and see them and despite my growing concerns the staff showed a lot of compassion but the system appears to have no back up for a problem such as mine with no help on hand to get things done. However I found the whole thing a positive experience and have no worries over my return visit for an operation early next year. What you read cannot be trusted and found that it appears easier to complain than compliment which is a shame because my whole experience has been more positive than negative and your staff are at the heart of this well done them.
