"Thoracic Surgery"

About: Southampton General Hospital

Anything else?

In august I had an operation to correct a deformity (pectus excavatum) at Southampton General. The surgery went smoothly with no complications and the post operative pain relief care was good. All the staff were brilliant at both treating and caring for me with a professional yet friendly attitude and the wards were very clean and tidy. I have complete faith in Southampton General and the NHS.

Thank you for letting the Trust know about your recent experience. Your comments have been passed on to the surgical area who will have cared for you. Coming to hospital can be a very concerning time and it is great to hear that we managed to meet your expectations. May we take this opportunity to wish you well with your ongoing rehabilitation.
