"Endoscopy Department"

About: Wycombe Hospital

Anything else?

In the past 3 months I have had both an endoscopy and a colonoscopy at Wycombe Hospital. I was terrified prior to both procedures. All the staff were so kind and helpful, and explained the procedures fully before performing them. Having had a colonoscopy some years earlier at a London Hospital which proved to be terribly painful, the consultant assured me that she would do everything to ensure that I had very little discomfort. She was great and so reassuring. Totally different experience from my prior one.

Thank you for taking the time to comment. Our staff really strive to offer compassionate care, so we are really pleased to hear that you felt supported and put at ease by them before you had your procedure. We are glad that your experience was better this time. We will make sure your comments are passed back to the team - they will appreciate your kind words. Kind regards Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust
