"Outpatients appointments"

About: Manor Hospital

Anything else?

you rarely see, if ever, your own consultant at any stage during any outpatient appointment. You are met by some unnamed staff, who has no idea of your health other than some papers on his/her desk. They don't listen but have a preconceived idea of you and your condition. No respect shown, no care just a desire to move on to the next patient. Doesn't matter you have waited 10 months. You wait on average 10 months for an appointment and when you are ill, this is too long by far, more so, when the person at your appointment insinuates you are a waste of further resorces

We are really sorry to hear about your experience in our Outpatients Department. We strive to offer the very best in patient care and on this occasion did not meet your expectations. We have passed your comments onto the Matron for that area and to the Associate Director of Nursing who would be happy to discuss this further on 01922 721172 or if you would like to contact our Patient Relations Department they would be happy to facilitate a discussion.
