The care, the attention and the willingness to take your concerns on board and complete explaiation of all procedures undertaken.

The Thoracic Day Care Ward staff are the very best and the Oncology team return every phone call and address any issues that arise. they are prepared to undertake other treatment options than the bog standard normal offerrings elsewhere. Other hospitals could look at what Papworth is doing right. They listen, they are not patronising and they also care for your spouse, offering a cup of tea at regular intervals and if there is anything more they can do for you.

What could be improved

Please, a pay rise for every nurse and a pair of roller skates for the person who checks everyone's weight at each outpatients visit. They must walk miles every day.
