About: St Peter's Hospital (Chertsey)

(as a relative),

I went into St Peters Hospital in Chertsey ,Surrey in about Autumn 2004. I had only 2 complaints and apart from that the service was very good.

(1) I overheard 2 nurses discussing whether they should admit that they had given someone an unnecessary CT Scan and whether they should call her back having just discharged her as she was likely to keel over at anytime now they knew themselves what was wrong.

(2) There were drips of old blood on the frame of my bed and on floor which were not cleaned all the week I was there. I would say that there is no way on this earth that the method of cleaning used would get rid of MRSA it would merely spread it all over the floor as they used their dirty old mops time and time again, and then take their gloves off and start serving food. Nope there is definitely a problem with hygeine!!

As I say, other than that the service was good.
