"My stay on C31 at QMC"

I was admitted to this ward for a 5 day stay in July 2008.

I felt that I received excellent care from the nursing staff. It was a very difficult time for me and felt at all times that my feelings were respected and acknowledged. The care given to me made an unbearable experience easier to come to terms with. There were lots of opportunities to discuss my health and ask questions and this was reassuring.

My only gripe was the quality of the food (on some occasions) and standard of cleanliness in the patient toilets. Those that were more frequently used needed checking and cleaning more frequently, although the ward in general was very clean.
