"A&E Staff"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

I was admitted to A&E in late November 2013 with a pulse rate of 150. I had a short wait before being seen by a nurse and heart medic. I was made to feel comfortable and was given the necessary tests and a full examination. Thankfully all my tests came back negative and after being put on a drip my pulse rate started to reduce to a normal level. The nursing staff looked after me so well and the heart medic on duty was excellent and stayed on after his shift had finished to make sure I was well enough to go home.

This was my first visit to the hospital and the service provided was outstanding.....a credit to the NHS.
