"Cancelled cancer operation"

I was diagnosed with early stomach cancer in mid October this year and surgery was planned as treatment.

Staging operation done in November and there was no spread.

A partial gastrectomy was scheduled for early December.

Procedure was cancelled the same day I received the letter for the procedure.

New date for procedure set for mid December. 4 days before my surgery was due, the surgeon informed me the service suspended pending review by the Trust. No reason was given.

Now I've been referred to University College London where I must see a new surgeon and possibly undergo another staging op before the procedure.

No dates have been given. I'm just waiting for phonecall. In my opinion I'm being treated in an appalling and cruel way.
