What I liked

I was admitted in November 07 to be treated for Bowel Cancer. The entire approach from diagnosis to discharge was first rate. Hospital was clean and staff excellent. High dependency ward was an oasis of calm after worry before op. Subsequent chemo (at Sheffield), blood tests and oncologist appointaments (at Chesterfield) were never late and all concerned very friendly, visitors made most welcome.

What could be improved

Well of course I was spoilt in HD ward, but general wards felt cramped and were a bit noisy at night, having said that I am larger than average and a very light sleeper, not much of a 'complaint' really!
