I visited A&E with concern that following a minor operation, I had developed Deep Vein Thrombosis. I was referred to the Ambulatory Care Unit for further assessment/treatment. My initial treatment and assessment in A & E was satisfactory. I was promptly seen by the medical staff, who were very understanding and supportive.
