We were involoved in a RTA and were taken to Heartland Hospital where Mum was admitted for a couple of days. The staff were initially abrupt and appeared stressed but after they realised our situation(we were left with nothing but the clothes were stood in 250 miles from home) they could not have been more helpful. They contacted a hotel for my husband and me and also a taxi as well as giving us a very needed cup of tea and they organised a ambulance transfer home. They were lovely with Mum as they realised she was a genuine case (do feel Heartlands have plenty of time waisters!!) I can't thank you all enough for all you care and help under a very difficult situation for us. Mum is recovering at home and doing ok. This was a great shock to us as we were the innocent victims in this RTA. Thanks again for all you help and support.
