I wish to say that over the last 3 years I have bee treated at Burton Queens Hospital but last week I was admitted to Stafford Hospital I can honestly say that from the time I was admitted at the hospital all the A&E staff were exceptional and informative pleasant and happy in there work. The only reason why I was transferred to North Staffs Hospital with a burst appendix was simply because the c t Scanner was broken and was going to be out of action till Friday. This is what the staff are up against and this is what is not acceptable the staff were extremely apologetic which they shouldn't be. I would particularly like to thank the nurse in SAU as she went above and beyond her duties to ensure me and my family were comfortable and informed of what was happening . Conclusion stafford Hospital is a fantastic hospital with good staff but they are working with extremely limited resources which makes their jobs impossible Thank you to all the staff I encountered on Wed 4thDec 2013 in A&E and also SAU Angela Bateman
