What I liked:

having had several operations at haslar i must say that my treatment has always been of the highest standard, my only disapointment is the level of hygeine has detiorated since it has been transfered to n.h.s care.

What could be improved? keep it open and hand it back to the royal navy to work in conjunction with the n.h.s i am absolutly certain that this would be of benefit to both civilian and miltary personel i am also sure that the new bigger q.a will be a disaster for all concerned as they cant keep the smaller version clean and up to a good standard

Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust replies: Thank you for your comments. The issue of cleanliness will be raised with the Ministry of Defence who are responsible for the contractors employed at Haslar Hospital.
