"The hospital lost my daughters appointment but TRAQS were very professional"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

My 5-year-old daughter was referred in June by my doctor. TRAQS contacted me and I wuld have to wait 6 weeks at the beginning of November. I heard nothing.

Craig from TRAQS was excellent. Not only did he chase up my preferred hospital appointment, he also got me an appointment but at another hospital. Princess Royal hospital has treated my referral with no thought, and "lost" my daughters paper work.

5 months I waited and nothing before I had to contact TRAQS. Craig from TRAQS was professional, honest a very, very helpful! !

During the wait my daughter took a turn for the worse, so this appointment was very important.

I am sorry that your daughter's referral was apparently mismanaged by the Princess Royal Hospital. However, I am pleased to note that Craig was able to bring about a satisfactory conclusion to your dilema and arrange an alternative appointment for you. I wish you and your daughter the very best for the future and hope she is now on the way to full health.
