"Inguinal hernia"

About: West Cornwall Hospital (Penzance)

Anything else?

I was admitted for laproscopic surgery for an Inguinal hernia on 21/11/13. I was warmly greeted and cared for during my day long stay. I was kept informed at all times as to what to expect. The surgeon, and his assistant were kind and clear, taking time to answer my questions. In fact, everyone I encountered that day helped make my experience as pleasant and stress free as I could ever have hoped for. Four days after my surgery, I received a call a surgical nurse located at Treliske checking in on how I was healing. Another friendly and respectfull encounter that contibuted to my peace of mind. It is nearly three weeks since my procedure and the 3 surgical sites have all but vanished and my level of comfort has improved dramatically. Getting to feel like I never had a hernia! Thank-You.
