"poor medical care"

About: Bmi - The Alexandra Hospital

Anything else?

Admitted for an ERCP as an inpatient. Sent for by the department, left to wait with Out patients wearing only a gown and dressing gown - absolutely no dignity whatsoever. Consultant was arrogant, did not listen when I was in pain. Post recovery excellent - nurses a credit to the hospital. Consultant - would never recommend this man. Obviously just there for the money and did not care about patients. Ward dirty, old bed frames, blood on bathroom floor - not mine. Too many staff who could not speak proper english and certainly did not understand paitents.

I'm sorry to hear that we did not meet all expectations. I can assure you that we take patient care most seriously. Our patient satisfaction, privacy & dignity and infection prevention and control scores are consistently high. Unfortunately, without your contact details it is difficult to understand the circumstances and specifics of your complaint. We do have a formal complaints process that you may wish to follow. Perhaps you would like to contact us to discuss in detail? Kind regards, Philip Oehley Executive Director BMI The Alexandra Hospital
