I was in chronic pain and was assessed by the paramedics, l wish to thank them for checking l was OK. l have multiple painful conditions including non specific facial pain/migraine including Hemi-plegic. l have been dealing with my migraine for 21yrs and this was 'ramping' up Fri when l was checked over. l found the nurse at the out of hours clinic over worked and l was in a lot of pain, my notes weren't in front of her, yet l signed to allow access to my notes. l would apologise for slipping a swear word l was in 9/10 pain and full of adrenaline. lt is confusing for me, if its my sinus etc sometimes only time lets me know when l can taste/see the infection by the mucus. l did leave feeling as if l shouldn't have gone. I have a hospital appointment and l do take responsibility to keep out of such places. ln contrast the ambulance team are an asset to you, so focused, positive and l felt like they listened to my chat. When you are in pain/migraine you aren't able to conduct yourself as you would when your well. l wish to feedback my thanks to them. l have thanked the first aiders at Tesco who also took great care of me. l was in the same pain for the best part of two days. l would like them to read this email if possible, they work so very hard and to know the public appreciate them.
