My 18yr old daughter had breathing problems this morning and as any parent will understand, you don't take any chances when it comes to your children, so I took her straight to A&E. We were greeted by reception and shown where to wait which was only for a matter of minutes. My daughter was assessed by a nurse who treated her with care and respect. We were then seen shortly after by a doctor who showed the same respect and clearly explained his diagnosis. I cannot praise them highly enough and would remind people that the NHS are under a huge strain but this is not the fault of the staff, who have to work under these circumstances and I think deserve more praise than criticism.
