"My treatment from A & E to ITC to Ward."

About: Hillingdon Hospital

Anything else?

Thankyou Hillingon that I will celebrate my 87th Christmas and New Year due to my excellent treatment. I was admitted feeling disorientated and poorly to the A & E department and went in to septic shock - at this stage I was treated immediately by various doctors and nurse from Intensive Care - I was then taken to intensive care ward and diagnosed with Septicemia - I was pumped with Antibiotics and given first class one-to-one care and with skill and dedication and humor - the doctors and nurses helped me turn corner in 10 days when I was moved to Hayes ward for a further 2 weeks - where again the dedication and application of nurses shone through - also my daughter and son where treated extremely well - with flexibility of visits etc. So 3 months later - here I am in south of France enjoying sunshine and looking forward to Christmas. Thanks again to the dedicated, caring and wonderful staff at Hillingdon - I would not be here today without you. Happy Christmas Patrick M

It was very nice to read and hear your comments related to Hayes Ward whilst you were a patient, and also that your daughter and son were given the flexibility with visiting times and treated extremely well, The staff on the ward are pleased to hear that you are looking forward to Christmas and also enjoying the south of France and the sunshine. Once again thank you for taking the time to write and it is nice to hear such a positive experience.
