"Lovely staff"

About: Colchester General Hospital

Anything else?

I went in on a Saturday morning for a foot injury, with concerns about a fracture. I arrived at 7am and was out by 8:30 am. Staff were very friendly and professional and addressed any and all questions and concerns. I felt the new waiting area was clean as were the new washrooms. I did make a point of going at a time when I felt the department would be less busy. My injury was minor, but after a quick call to the North Colchester Walk in I was informed that the A&E would be best. Remember, with minor accidents, make an informed decision about where to go! A quick call and google search and I knew that the A&E was where to go as I might (and did) need an xray. But there are loads of other services between Colchester, Ipswich and even Harwich that address minor injury needs.

Many thanks for your comments and taking the time to submit them. We try really hard to improve our services based on the comments we receive. We have a quarterly At Our Best Awards scheme which recognises staff achievements and thanks them for what they do. It has a team category, an individual and a volunteer category. You could enter the team/the person you were kind enough to write in about, by clicking here! http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/At_Our_Best_Awards Could you also email the Colchester Gazette and ask them to publish a letter? Email is: gazette.letters@nqe.com Many thanks
