"Detached retina surgery"

About: Manchester Royal Eye Hospital

Anything else?

Having been diagnosed with a detached retina I was referred to the Manchester Eye Hospital the same day. I was assessed by a surgeon and had an operation within a couple of days. The care and attention from everyone I came into contact at the Hospital was of the highest standard. A very scary time but I had complete confidence in the staff and am now on the way to recovery, could not recommend highly enough.

Dear Mr Wroe,

Thank you for your comments posted on the Patient Opinion website regarding your care on at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital during November and December 2013. It was very kind of you to write and compliment the staff as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects the hard work and dedication of our staff. It was reassuring to hear that you thought highly of our retinal service. We can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to Mr N Patton, outpatient, theatre and ward staff at the Eye hospital.
