Anything else?
One month post-surgery for a ruptured Achilles tendon, I would like to thank everyone concerned with the treatment and care for my injury. A&E were quick, helpful and had everything under control. The Day Surgery Unit was superb - the member of staff who sorted out all my appointments, the staff who shepherded me through the pre- and post-op processes and the physio who explained all the rehab requirements. Thanks also to the member of staff for calling the day after surgery to make sure I had slept ok and was not in any pain... Surgeon, Anaesthetist and their teams were brilliant - again explaining everything in advance and providing plenty of reassuring advice. The member of staff in the Plaster Room and everyone else in the Fracture Clinic - full marks again! Thanks to all concerned - I guess you haven't quite seen the last of me yet :-)
