(as the patient),

I needed to have a chest drain fitted following a collapsed lung.

I was a patient in this hospital some years ago when the care (not the medical treatment) was absolutely appalling so I was not look forward to being an in-patient for 7-10 days.

The treatment I received was excellent, from every member of staff both medical and non medical.

Everyone did their very best to ensure that my stay was as pleasant as possible.

There was one issue which I raised with the ward sister, this was resolved immediately.
